Leona Annizene Winkleman, 90, passed away Monday June 11, 2012 at New Harmonie Healthcare.
She was born August 10, 1921 in Gibson County the daughter of George William and Clara Amy (Straw) Mobley.
Annizene and Edgar T. Winkleman were married Nov. 30, 1941. She had worked as a cook for the Poseyville Nursing Home for several years.
Survivors include her children, Larry (Lorelei) Winkelman of Great Falls, Montana, Jerry (Ann) Winkleman of Wadesville, Ind., Troy Winkleman of Stewartsville, Ind., Lloyd (Barbara) Winkleman of Mount Vernon, Ill., Jane (Charles) Reynolds of Stewartsville, Ind., Jack (Melba) Winkleman of Wadesville, Ind., David (Cindy) Winkleman of Owensville, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; sister, Nadine Malone; brother, Tom Mobley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter, Melba Sue Winkleman; step-son, Bobby Winkleman; step-daughter, Peggy Winkleman; three grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Pauline Winkleman; brothers, Charles and Darrell Mobley; half brothers, Elmer, Herman, William Virgil (Nub), and Harley Mobley, Paul Staley; half sisters, Mary Mobley, Mabel Denby and Mildred Savage.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Mary Hurley officiating. Burial was in the Poseyville Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
